A final THANK YOU goes out to our Fairfield Educators! We have enjoyed celebrating this week with you and appreciate all of your efforts.

Thank you to everyone that came out last night to enjoy our Academic/Athletic Awards Banquet and support this great group of students that we have. Thank you to everyone that came to give out scholarships and awards our students are truly blessed to have such a great community. Thank you to Mrs. Knoche for organizing this event and keeping things running smoothly. Thank you to our FPO for making the meat and providing the tableware. Thank you to the parents for all the support that you have provided these students with all year and for bringing some AWESOME desserts and side dishes. Finally, thank you to our students for being the fantastic people that you are and making this year such a success.

Mrs. Radke's fifth grade students just completed a science unit in which they incubated chicken eggs. Students kept track of their chicks' development over the past twenty-one days and seventeen chicks have now hatched!

Today Mrs. Zink's kindergarten students celebrated Ms. Erin’s last day of working with us.  Thank you Ms Erin❤️ from the Kindergartners, Mrs. Zink, and Mrs. McReynolds.

Today FHS students Gage Brown, Lukas and Lane Schwab, Kassie Schwab, and Kyle Haskins attended the HCTEA Signing Day at Hutchinson Community College. The students were accompanied by Fairfield Academic Advisor Mrs. Knoche. Congratulations to these students on their career training plans for the 24-25 school year.

We are keeping a close eye on today's severe weather threat. We will let you know as soon as possible if there are any changes to after school activities or tonight's FMS/FHS 6:30 pm music concert. We are in contact with the Reno County Emergency Management to help monitor our specific situation. Stay posted!

On Saturday, Max, Caitlyn, and Tacoma traveled to Salina for Forensics State festival where Max received a 1 rating in Serious Solo, Caitlyn received a 2 in Prose, and Tacoma a 3 in Poetry. Garrett and Rex competed at state champs and finished 5th out of 22 teams in IDA.

From Coach Hamm: Hello HS Girls Basketball parents we will have a quick parent/ athlete meeting right after the high school awards banquet May 7th in the lunch room. We will be letting you all know our summer plans for practice, signing up to work at the fireworks stand and finding a date that works to have a team camp. (If we can find someone to come put one on for us)

Free School Supplies First Call for Help has sent us the registration forms for the 2024-2025 school year and they have been sent home with your student. Please return them to your school secretary by May 16, 2024. There are 2 pages that need to be filled out in order for you to qualify for the school supplies.
